Delete a connected social credential
- Sign in to your Social Butterflie client workspace.
- Open Your social access on the client home, or ask the Social Butterflie owner to open Connections for the exact client.
- Select Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok and choose Disconnect.
- Review the exact account and choose Delete credential.
This immediately removes Social Butterflie's usable credential and blocks later provider actions. Safe identity, approval, delivery, and audit history remains so prior work is not rewritten.
Revoke access at the provider
You may also remove Social Butterflie from the connected apps or business integrations area in Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok. Provider-side revocation is controlled by that provider. If you revoke there first, Social Butterflie will fail closed and require fresh authorization before the connection can be used again.
Request broader deletion
Open Support in the private workspace and create a request that names the exact client, account email, and the data you want deleted. If you can no longer sign in, contact the Social Butterflie owner who invited you and ask them to open the request for that exact client.
The team will verify the requester's authority before deleting workspace data. The response will identify what was deleted and any narrow record that must be retained for security, consent, approval, delivery, billing, dispute, or legal reasons.
What disconnect does not do
Disconnecting one social credential does not delete the social account, remove posts from the provider, erase approved content versions, or claim that Meta or TikTok removed the app from its own connected-app list. Those are separate provider or workspace actions.
